Seller's Description
Hardback copy of 'The Picture Alphabet' published by Thomas Nelson and Sons. No publishing date but it has an inscription on the front end paper that is dated 1926. The book is printed on good quality thick paper and has delightful 1920's illustrations throughout, signed N.E. Tuckett and R.C., along with a colour frontispiece. The pages have some page end foxing and soiling with the spine starting to split but it is still holding at the moment. Yellow paper covered boards are rather worn and stained but it is still a lovely period item. Length 21.75cms, width 16cms, 96 pages.
