Offered is a rather rare edition of Edward Everett Hale's classic "The Man Without a Country" which was loosely based on the actual story of Clement Vallandigham, an anti-war pro-Confederate Ohio Democrat. This is a "Little Paperback Classic" published by Pyramid Books and so it measures 3.5" by 5.25" in size. This was a former student's copy and so it has hand-written notes in margins and underlined passages of note. The book has front and back cover wear, wear on the edges, and some wrinkles and scuffing. Interior pages have discolored with age. There does appear to be a page missing but it may have been an advert or something included in the book as the first page starts with the title page. The spine has some wrinkles and there is a small tape repair towards the bottom of it.
