Printed monochrome postcard showing an old guy sat beside the Major Oak near Edwinstowe in Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire.
Published by Linney's Pictorial Post Cards, not numbered, printed by George Washington Wilson & Co Ltd, Aberdeen.
Postally used on 15 June 1904 with double circle Mansfield cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Miss V. Grant, Litchborough Hall, Weedon, Northamtonshire.
Good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but knock to bottom right corner and light crease to right edge.
