12inch x 18inch Poster A cartoon of children licking small blocks on ice from an ice wagon to stay cool in the summer, as the ice truck driver delivers ice to the homes. The cartoon was drawn by Clare Briggs for the book "Oh Skin-nay! The Days of Real Sport" in 1913. The book was written by poet Wilbur D. Nesbit and portrays a year in the life of small-town America through the eyes of the twelve-year-old boy - wood gathering, sleigh rides, games of post office, swimming holes, and sandlot ball games. - There is a border around the image. Image size is correct.
