zx798 Antique real photo postcard of the Crescent War Hospital in Croydon Surrey showing the wards on February 20th 1918 (publisher has dated the view - see below the patients) - This has an approximate 2.5 inch circular indent in what seems strong thumb handling that must be allowed - otherwise very good (and mostly great) condition - please allow as above - on the reverse is a message from one what I assume a soldier at this hospital being treated.. It reads in pencil "Still In The Pink.. Still In The Bed.. Still Fed Up..Yours Bernard" making this the ultimate listing of its kind. The nurses all wear different uniforms and you can see the Red Cross.
