This is a 1958 Viking Press ninth edition 8x11 hardbound book spotlighting space    exploration and its mysteries of the day. The 160-page volume written by Willy Ley is exquisitely illustrated by famed astronomical artist Chesley Bonestell who matte-painted the visionary environments depicted in 1950’s DESTINATION MOON and 1952’s WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE films. Dust cover condition is Very Good with modest all around edge wear while the pages are intact and unblemished.
