Original 10 inch x 8 inch Portrait of COLEEN GRAY in the 1955 Allan Dwan Western TENNESSEE’S PARTNER, based on a story by Bret Harte .

Coleen Gray (1922 - 2015) was born in Staplehurst, Nebraska of Danish descent. She became active in college dramatics at Hamline University and appeared with various little theatres before breaking into films in the mid-1940s. She has played competent leads in many Hollywood productions, mostly in crime dramas such as Stanley Kubrick’s ‘The Killing’ !956), Westerns such as ‘Red River’, and action pictures. She co-starred in the TV series ‘Window on Main Street’ (1961-1962).
