Up for sale is a old vintage original Tell-A-Tale series Peter's Pencil in very good condition written and illustrated by Paula Hurley Butler and published by Whitman in New York in 1953. On the front cover along the top and down the edge of the cover there is wear, scuff marks, nicks, and the corners are rounding from age, and on the front cover there is wear, scuff marks, light scratches and some light dents in the cover. On the back cover along the top and down the edge of the cover there is wear, scuff marks, a couple light nicks, and the corners are rounding from age, and on the back cover there is wear, scuff marks, and light scratches.The page has no crayon, creases, stains, or fading. But the pages dose show light yellowing, rounding and blunting at the corners of the pages and on 5 or 6 page at the bottom of the pages there is a tear from a 1/2" to 1"and on the last 4 pafes there is some light pen marks connecting the numbers. Besides this the book is in good condition for being 72 years old.
