Original 1946 handbag zipper manufacturing trade magazine vintage ad for TALON, INC. Main office and factory was located in Meadville, PA. Don't look now but her slide fastener is showing! Its a Talon slide fastener and no item used in handbags, regardless of cost, is more universally recognized as a symbol of quality. A quality slide fastener is particulary important in a handbag because it is probably opened and closed more frequently and subjected to greater wear than any slide fastener in a womans entire wardrobe. This old dated one page post-war magazine advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed.
