Original British 17 inch x 22 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1940 Edward Ludwig Adventure THE SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON, based on the novel by Johann David Wyss and starring Thomas Mitchell, Edna Best, Freddie Bartholomew, Terry Kilburn and Tim Holt.
Mitchell is excellent as the patriarch of the Robinson family, shipwrecked on a desert island during the Napoleonic Wars.
First picture from ‘The Play’s The Thing Productions’ based on famous works that were out of copyright.
The advert is in very good condition with one vertical centre fold.
