(Separate reprints from the journal "Istoricheskiy Vestnik," 1880). Vladimir Yakovlevich Stoyunin (1826-1888) was an educator and publicist. He authored works on the history of pedagogy and popular education. He also wrote about the history of Russian literature, including articles on A.D. Kantemir, A.P. Sumarokov, and others. Stoyunin also wrote monographs dedicated to A.S. Pushkin and A.S. Shishkov. His research and articles on Pushkin were published in the "Istoricheskiy Vestnik" journal in 1880.
