Seller's Description

Printed glazed colour postcard showing a view of St Mary's Church at Bungay in Suffolk. The church is notorious for the appearance there of a demonic black dog in 1577 which slew many of the congregation there.

Publisher not stated, not numbered.

Postally used on 14 September 1908 with single circle Needlesham cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Mr W. Helsby, 57 Beamsley Road, Manningham, Bradford, Yorkshire.

Fairly good condition, with some wear to corners, especially top left, and light crease to bottom edge.
