Seller's Description
Near the handle is impressed '0.5 l' using the lowercase 'l' for Liter. The bottom is hallmarked with intertwined 'W's'. Made by the Wick-Werke factory in Germany between 1960-1984. Has a quality control '1' stamped on the bottom. There is no country of origin stamp which suggests this stein was not produced for export.
The beer stein holds a half liter of beer and weighs one pound five ounces - yes - it is heavy. It is approximately 5 inches tall x 4 inches wide at the base x 3.25 inches wide at the rim. The mug has no chips, cracks, or repair. There is some crazing on the exterior bottom and along the bottom exterior edge of the stein. The stein is in very good condition.
A great item for breweriana collectors. Perfect for Octoberfest.
