Text on reverse: 33-year-old JOHN JUSTIN stars as Test Pilot Philip Peel in the new David Lean air film, “THE SOUND BARRIER.” In this story of the pioneering of supersonic flight, Justin epitomises the modern test pilot who combines brains with bravery. Justin was a war-time R.A.F. and test pilot. His last film appearance was in “The Angel With the Trumpet”.
”THE SOUND BARRIER” is a David Lean production for London Films. Written by Terence Rattigan, it stars Ralph Richardson, Nigel Patrick, John Justin and Ann Todd.
