Simplicity 6983 sewing pattern by Henry Grethel. This 1985 vintage sewing pattern will make a misses' loose-fitting shirt in a size 10 (eur. 38). The pattern is uncut and factory folded. See the pattern inventory below.

Simplicity 6983

MISSES' LOOSE-FITTING SHIRT:
Top stitched shirt with front button closing has neckband and collar, yoke, extended shoulders, patch pockets, shirttail hem and back vent. V. 1 has long sleeves gathered to buttoned cuffs. V. 2 has below elbow length sleeves rolled up with buttoned tab. (Wrong side of fabric will show when V. 1 and 2 sleeves are rolled up).

FABRICS:
Cotton types: broadcloth, chambray, flannel, oxford cloth, sheeting. Wool challis. V. 1 also in madras. Extra fabric needed to match plaids and stripes. One-way design fabrics: extra fabric may be needed ... use nap yardage and nap layouts to match. Not suitable for obvious diagonal fabrics.

NOTIONS:
Thread, eight 1/2" buttons.

The envelope is in fair condition with corner folding and edge rolling. The front is speckled with dirt and has been stamped but I can't read the stamp. (see Pictures).
