Original 1988 Polish 18 3/4 inch x 26 3/4 inch Poster for the 1987 Mikhail Ptashuk Russian War Drama SIGN OF DISASTER (ZNAK BADY), written by Vasili Bykov, Yevgeni Grigoryev & Oskar Nikich starring Nina Ruslanova, Gennadiy Garbuk, Vitali Bykov, Vladimir Gostyukhin and Aleksey Zaytsev.

Set in a small hamlet during World War II, where a brave woman defends her home and family against Hitler's soldiers.

Poster art by Wieslaw Walkuski. Walkuski was born in 1956 in Bialystok, Poland. He started his graphic design education at the Warsaw Academy of Art which he attended for 5 years, during the period 1976–1981. He has more than 200 posters to his name and he continues his work as a poster designer, an illustrator and a painter.

The poster is in very good unfolded (rolled) condition.
