3 Original 9 3/8 inch x 7 inch Black and White Stills and 1 original 10 inch x 8 inch Black and White Still of RINALDO SMORDONI & FRANCO INTERLENGHI in the 1948 Vittorio De SicaItalian Neo-Realist Drama SHOESHINE (SCIUSCIA) also starring Franco Interlenghi, Annielo Mele, Bruno Ortenzi and Emilio Cigoli.
Early neo-realist film set in post-war Rome where 2 deprived shoeshine boys struggle for their existence by selling bloack market goods and end up in reform school. An unsentimental account of poverty, shot in documentary fashion which deservedly won director de Sica international acclaim.
The stills are in very good condition. Two have synopses tacked to the reverse.
