Modern design demands the blending together of smooth flowing lines in every wall, room opening and corridor. Protruding mechanisms and accessories mar the design symmetry so important to the planning of architects and builders. Shelby checking hinges combine hinge and automatic checking-closer into one smooth operating unit, completely out of sight in the floor. Also shown are ball bearing pivots, gravity hinges, x-ray door hinges, and screen and storm door closers no 666 and 555.
