FAMOUS 1st EDITION F-4 - WHIZ COMICS # 1 - Oct.-Nov. 1974
This reprints the very 1st Captain Marvel story of how Billy Batson met the Wizard and became Captain Marvel by saying the word SHAZAM! His firstadventure finds him taking on a crime syndicate trying to remove all the Radio Stations! The rest of this first issue of WHIZ COMICS follows: IBIS THE INVINCIBLE sees Ibis return from the dead as a Mummy! GOLDEN ARROW is about an orphaned kid raised by animals who becomes an expert in Archery! SPY SMASHER saves some secret Government plans on a blimp! SCOOP SMITH tracks down some stolen Radiation! LANCE O'CASEY and his pet monkey Mr. Hogan have an adventure saving a man ad his hottie Daughter on a remote South Sea's Island! DAN DARE in "Seals of Doom" finds the Detective summoned to a Florida Mansion to solve a murder mystery!
