Original Belgian 13 inch x 21 inch Poster for the 1993 Steven Spielberg Holocaust Movie SCHINDLER'S LIST, based on the book by Thomas Keneally and starring Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes, Caroline Goodall, Jonathan Sagalle and Embeth Davidtz.
In German-occupied Poland during World War II, industrialist Oskar Schindler gradually becomes concerned for his Jewish workforce after witnessing their persecution by the Nazis.
Poster design by Tom Martin. A veteran art director who designed thousands of iconic movie posters, billboards, DVD covers, and other pieces of graphic art for movies in the course of his 30-year career, which began in Ohio in the 1970s directing print adverts for a local magazine. When the publisher moved to Los Angeles Martin followed but then joined a small agency where he designed his first movie poster for Brian De Palma’s “Dressed to Kill”. His work got him noticed and eventually landed him a job at Universal Pictures as a co-creative director and, later, senior vice president.
