Seller's Description

As an introduction in 2000, to the acquisition of new digital equipment by our company, Grade A Graphics, we created this image by combining photos from famous surfing photographer Bob Barbour into this surreal composite image depicting a potential tragedy that could happen to the Santa Cruz wharf if a large wave struck. The actual wave shown here is from the coastal area north of Santa Cruz, called Mavericks- a popular surfing spot. We combined it with a photo taken from the river mouth of the popular wharf.

Who could ever imagine that this event would actually happen-it did on December 22, 2024, during a storm, taking out the end of the wharf exactly as shown here! These are news action photos seen on the web.

Poster could be re-matted to eliminate the business line at the bottom
