Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1987 Stephen Frears Drama SAMMY AND ROSIE GET LAID, written by Hanif Kureishi and starring Shashi Kapoor, Claire Bloom, Ayub Khan Din, Frances Barber, Roland Gift and Wendy Gazelle.
Sammy (Khan Din) and Rosie (Barber) are a free-spirited and sexually liberated couple, living in London in the late 80's. Their life together is turned upside down when Sammy's father (Kapoor), a politician escaping enemies in Asia, returns to Britain and comes to stay with them. He frowns on their open relationship, and is equally at odds with the new face of contemporary Britain. Sammy and Rosie struggle to understand the old fashioned ideas of their visitor, as they drown in London's chaotic social sex scene, whilst attempting to make sense of the truth of their own marriage.
