Seller's Description
Sacred Records started as a California company in 1944. The President was Earle E. Williams, who hosted the TV show "Sunday Sing" (originally, "Highway to Heaven") which debuted on October 28, 1956 on KCOP in Los Angeles. By 1958, they were operating at 550 W. Lamberk Rd., Whittier, California. They specialized in religious music, and shared much of their artist roster with the Christian Faith label, also in California.
Side 319-A presents 2 tracks:
1. "Wonderful Peace"
2. "Thou Wilt Keep Him In Perfect Peace"
Side 319-B offers an interesting Christian Spiritial, "Dry Bones". All pieces feature Rudy Atwood at the piano with singing by the Old Fashioned Revival Hour Quartet.
One of the earliest of Sacred's recordings, circa late 1940's to early 1950's, this pressing is 180 degrees opposite of the previous record. Virtually scratch-free with a high gloss. One or two minor scuffs and no cracks, chips, or skips for a FABULOUS sound!
