Original 8 1/4 inch x 6 1/4 inch Portrait of RUBY MILLER in the 1928 Geoffrey Barkas New Era production THE INFAMOUS LADY also starring Arthur Wontner.

Ruby Miller was born on July 14, 1889 in Brixton, London, England as Ruby Laura Rose Miller. She was an actress, known for In Another Girl's Shoes (1917), Anna Karenina (1948) and Little Women (1917). She was married to Max Darewski and 2nd Lieutenant Philip Edward Samson. Originally one of George Edwardes’ ‘Gaiety Girls’, she was the subject of TV's This is Your Life in 1962. She died on April 2, 1976 in Chichester, West Sussex, England.

The portrait, on doubleweight paper, is in very good condition.
