Royal Cloak Scallop Seashell 2" Red Purple Pecten Pallium

Up for sale is one pair of royal cloak scallop shells, also known as the gloripallium pallium.  These scallops are type of  bivalve mollusk that have a rich purple color which bleeds into a tiger stripe-looking pattern towards the bottom of the shell.  Royal cloak scallop seashells offer great possibilities for artists and crafters. They can also be incorporated into earrings, necklaces, wind chimes or added to coastal-inspired picture frames.  They would be a beautiful addition to any  collections of shells or other curiosities.
