All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This item:  A PRIME COLLECTABLE A very rare original Hammer Films contract for the actor the late Ronald Lewis (1928 - 1982) dated 1st January 1962 for a three picture deal with Hammer Film Productions Ltd - although no titles given, Lewis did star in The Full Treatment (1960) and in Taste of Fear (1961) both made before this contract, though possibly leading to this contract for a further three movie deal, although the only one to be made was The Brigand of Kandahar (1965) after which he was not to make another Hammer movie. Signed by Ronald Lewis and James Carreras - it is also signed by John Lewis on behalf of Ronald Lewis Ltd as well as E. Lewis as a witness to Ronald's signature (are these two family members? Seems likely but I have no confirming evidence). The contract is 18 pages of foolscap and attached to the verso is a letter dated 5 June, 1962 from MCA regarding information concerning Ronald Lewis's participation in a Val Guest movie (Val Guest regarded Lewis as a potential A list star of the future); the contract is for three years starting January 1962 and details conditions as well as the actual fees for each movie (growing in value each time). Ronald Lewis is a very rare signature for the Hammer collector most especially on a prime Hammer document such as this contract.  A great item for the collector. Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Very Good ++   -:  ols, light vertical fold; very good corners and edges with minimal wear; pages all secure ; overall a very good item.
