Original vintage oil and gas trade magazine ad for ROCKWOOD SPRINKLER COMPANY of Worcester, MA. Portable Fire Protection Division. The Tanker was in Flames with 160,000 Barrels of High Octane Gas Aboard! It ignited when it collided with another tanker in the Delaware River. A Navy team from the Naval Base Philadelphia under the direction of Lieutenant Commander Louis O. Lindeman came to the rescue in the tug U.S.S. Toka. They used Rockwood fire-fighting equipment. Old 1953 petroleum industry safety equipment advertisement.
