Seller's Description

Original Argentine 29 inch x 43 inch Poster for the 1950 Anthony Pelissier Drama THE ROCKING HORSE WINNER, based on the story by D.H. Lawrence and starring Valerie Hobson, John Howard Davies, John Mills, Ronald Squire, Hugh Sinclair, Charles Goldner, Susan Richards, Cyril Smith, Anthony Holles and Michael Ripper.

A strange and ultimately tragic tale of a young boy who learns how to pick winners at the racetrack by riding his rocking horse to aid his parents out of their endless round of debts.

The poster is in good to very good folded condition. There is slight separation at centre and bottom cross folds. There is slight wear along the bottom fold. There is a 2 inch tear at the right edge. There are corner pinholes.
