MG This undated but modern origin real photo postcard from a Philadelphia born female photographer and I believe this picture an award photo too when first published in 1979 which is a retired Chinese elderly lady from the 1970s quite simply titled "Retired Woman China"- which this led to her first major solo exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum in 1980, where she showed the resulting images including this work. In the same year, she received the National Book Award for In China which this photo marks this point in her Chinese award career with full indentification on reverse unused and mint
