Seller's Description

Original Polish 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1974 Sergei Kolosov Drama REMEMBER YOUR NAME (POMNI IMYA SVOYE) starring Ludmila Kasatkina, Ryszarda Hanin, Tadeusz Borovski, Lyudmila Ivanova and Leon Niemczyk.

This story, told in flashback of a Russian woman sent to Auschwitz during WWII, and later separated from her son, is one of the first Soviet films to acknowledge the Nazi concentration camps.

Poster art by Marian Stachurski Born in Lazy 1931, Marian Stachurski studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts under Henryk Tomaszewski. Stachurski created film posters from the late-1950s through the mid-70s, for both domestic and international films. He worked in quite a comical cartoon-style manner.

The poster is in very good folded condition. There are minor cross fold tears.
