Seller's Description
A used 0.5 liter stoneware Reichelbrau Kulmbach beer stein mug from Germany. It has a gray background glaze. The front of the beer mug reads 'Reichelbrau Kulmbach'. The front has the brewery crest. The crest is a 5 color lithograph. Crest measures approximately 3 inches tall.
Near the handle is impressed '0.5 l' using the lowercase 'l' for Liter. The bottom is hallmarked with intertwined 'W's'. Made by the Wick-Werke factory in Germany between 1960-1984. Has a quality control '8' stamped on the bottom. There is no country of origin stamp which suggests this stein was not produced for export.
The beer stein holds a half liter of beer and weighs one pound five ounces - yes - it is heavy. It is approximately 5 inches tall x 4 inches wide at the base x 3.25 inches wide at the rim. The mug has no chips, cracks, crazing, or repair. The stein is in excellent condition.
A great item for breweriana collectors. Perfect for Octoberfest.
