Printed monochrome postcard showing a comic illustration by Reg Carter of a fight between two train drivers on the railway line between Halesworth and Southwold in Suffolk.
Published by The Venture, Southwold, The Sorrows of Southwold Series, No 2.
Postally used on 17 November 1974 with Golders Green cancellation on green-grey 3½p stamp and sent to the philatelist Mr Alan Violet of Cheltenham, the membership secretary of the Railway Philatelic Group, with message regarding the difficulties with the publication of the TPO journal (Travelling Post Office), the illustrations and articles.
Very good condition, with slight corner bumps.
