Seller's Description

Original U.S. Set of 8 10 inch by 8 inch Front-of-House Stills (Lobby Cards) for the 1981 Warren Beatty Russian Revolution Drama REDS starring Warren Beatty (as John Reed), Diane Keaton (as Louise Bryant), Jack Nicholson (as Eugene O'Neill), Maureen Stapleton (as Emma Goldman), Edward Herrmann, Jerzy Kosinski, Bessie Love, Gene Hackman (as Pete Van Wherry), Roger Sloman as (Lenin), Stuart Richman (as Leon Trotsky), Henry Miller and Paul Sorvino.

American journalist John Reed (the journalist and writer who chronicled the Russian Revolution in his book Ten Days That Shook the World) journeys to Russia to document the Boleshevik Revolution and returns a revolutionary. His fervour for left-wing politics leads him to Louise Bryant, then married, who will become a feminist icon and activist. Politics at home become more complicated as the rift grows between reality and Reed's ideals. Bryant takes up with cynical playwright Eugene O'Neill, and Reed returns to Russia, where his health declines.

The set is in fine condition.
