Original 1944 Re-Release British 11 inch x 17 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1940 Alfred Hitchcock Mystery REBECCA, based on the novel by Daphne Du Maurier and starring Joan Fontaine, Laurence Olivier, Judith Anderson, George Sanders, Nigel Bruce, Reginald Denny, C. Aubrey Smith, Gladys Cooper, Florence Bates, Melville Cooper and Leo G. Carroll.

The start of Hitchcock’s legendary collaboration with producer David O. Selznick, this elegiac gothic vision, captured in stunning black and white by George Barnes, took home the Academy Awards for best picture and best cinematography.
