Interesting sample of the Victorian coinage in collectible condition.. This year this large coin was issued in small mintage 107990 pcs! Very seldom on sale in any condition.. Practically the compete circular legends on both sides of the coin are visible..
On Obverse: VICTORIA QUEEN 1891
On Reverse: · CYPRUS · HALF PIASTRE
A century ago the population was about 200000 people on the Island.. The total quantity of coins was extremely small: much less then 2 million of copper pcs.. As a result the coins circulated very incentively and every piece counted!
