You are looking at a very rare, vintage and highly collectible, heavy cermaic/stoneware stein/tankard made by Böckling in Germany. Has the words "Gruß Vom Oktoberfest" on it. Was a gift but selling as I need to downsize the amount of stuff I own. I'm not sure how old this is as I did not receive it new and I have been unable to find any similar enough online which have the dates they were made. If I had to guess, early/mid 1990's to early 2000's.
As far as I can tell, this stein was special edition created for Oktoberfest one year though finding specific details has been very hard. I believe this to be very rare as I have only been able to find one other stein like this one from old photos on the interweb. It also comes with its original box
Would make a great decoration or of course, you could drink from it. It looks like it would be epic for quaffing. Also a great present for attendees of fans of the epic Oktoberfest festival.
Excellent, no visible damage, no chips, cracks or nicks. There is one line shaped dent beside the blue and white flag on the left. Please see the advert pictures.
