based on the folk art style that was promulgated by MATL.
Matilde Eugenia Poulat or MATL as collectors of Taxco jewelry know this great artisan
She was "a fellow student at the San Carlos Academy of Art along with her famous fellow student,
Diego Rivera (Frida Kahlo's husband), and a painter and designer at first before she opened her shop or taller in 1934.
