This coin is of interesting type in beautiful condition with a few spots from an official prooflike mint set with pleasant bloom dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. It is the first and the only commemorative 50 kopecks coin of the country and depicts the dream of humanity progress directed by Lenin (1870-1924) as it is shown on the Obverse. The only 50 kopecks where the coat of arms is on the Reverse. Despite of this by error or what is most probably due to political jealousy there are catalogs where the side with the world leader is considered as the Reverse, see for example the Standard Catalog of World Coins.
