19 Regiment Royal Artillery (The Scottish Gunners) boasts a powerful Regimental and Scottish history.
The Regiment was originally formed in 1900 as 17 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery.

The Regiment became 17th Regiment Royal Artillery in 1938, and then re-numbered to 19th Regiment Royal Artillery in 1947

It continued to serve under this name until 2014, when it amalgamated with 40th Regiment Royal Artillery (The Lowland Gunners) to form 19th Regiment Royal Artillery, The Scottish Gunners.

The men and women in the Pipes and Drums are first and foremost soldiers.
Owing to a fiercely proud Scottish heritage, the band personifies Scotland and pays graceful homage to the history of the bagpipe and the pipers and drummers wearing of the Hunting Robertson Modern tartan of Clan Donnachaidh.
