*RARE* 1871 "THE POETICAL WORKS OF JAMES R LOWELL" VOL 1 USA ANTIQUE BOOK (P3)
Great *RARE* antique small hardback book from 1871 containing the poetical works of James R Lowell. Published in Boston (USA). Volume 1 only. Photo 4 shows the lovely gold gilt page edges. Photos 2 & 18 shows some wear to the top of the cover spine. Photo 19 shows a gap in the binding but there are no loose pages. Photo 20 shows exposed webbing on the inside cover crease and also shows that the corner of the inside cover right page has been torn off. Photo 21 shows antique pen writing from 1874 on an initial blank page. Other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 153 years old.
Measures 14cm tall x 8.5cm wide x 2.5cm thick. Weighs 215 grams.
