An interesting, translucent stone. It's actually not a moonstone at all, but a Labradorite Feldspar. It throws a light blue to light yellow sheen. Typically, it is never "clean", by ordinary standards -- there are all sorts of veils, inclusions and stuff (like that technical term?) that gives it it's character. It really is a very cool stone. Most of the time, it's not clear enough or clean enough to facet, but the material we have is, and it looks great. These are some of the best we've ever seen. These are killer stones, and this is a good, rugged ring that won't get in your way. Wear it at work, wear it on special occasions -- it's just a good ring. ____________________________________________________________________ BTW, Since we make this from scratch after you order it, we have a lot of flexibility. We can cast this in yellow, white or rose gold, and in any of 10k, 14k, or 18k.
