North Eastern Railway (NER) Class S3 design with inside Stephenson valve gear.
London & North Eastern Railway Class B16. Total 38 of the original design built.
Steam brakes superseded the original Westinghouse brakes in the 1930s.
She was at 50A York North from 1948 to 1961.
