Quilt Just for the Love of Running Free with Pillowcase 101249QPC - $115.00
This is a Quilts byJudie designed custom made quilt using a printed fabric panel named Run Wild Run Free. Also used on the front of the quilt were two paper pieced patterns Broken Bend and Sugar Maple designed by Carol Doak.
Paper piecing is a technique where you sew the fabric directly onto a piece of paper with the pattern drawn on it. After the fabrics are sewn together the paper is torn off.
The size is 67.00in x 55.00in. It fits the top of a child’s size twin bed without covering the pillow. The fabrics are 100% cotton. The batting is cotton Warm and Natural brand.
One Decorator Pillowcase is included with purchase. The body of the pillowcase matches the backing of the quilt.
The backing of the quilt is a cotton fabric named Running Free. It depicts horses running on a green background.
The quilting is a mixture of edge to edge meanderings and stippling. There is a tiny bit of stitch outline on the horses manes and tails. There is no quilting on the main part of the horses bodies.
The binding matches the outerborder of the quilt. It was sewn by machine with a decorative stitch.
