Seller's Description
For marking print on objects such as the silver print on old ruby flash souvenir glass. In remarkable condition for its age. The slide top wooden box has some chips out of one end of the top. The cloth covered wires look like new. The extra tip envelope is empty. Comes with three 100 square inch sheets of foil - 2 silver and 1 gold - ~5 by 20 inches each. I tested it with a 40 watt bulb - the result is shown below. The tip is somewhat sharp for this type of writing. It plugs in via a light socket and uses a light bulb for its power setting, see instructions below. Originally sold by Swartchild & Co.
