You are looking at a striking handcrafted Sterling Silver, limited edition, drop necklace & earrings set featuring genuine Agate, Jade and Aventurine. The necklace has a central drop featuring a gorgeous flat oval deep Purple Agate bead which has two Sterling silver coils as part of the bale design. This lovely bead has an approximate measurement of 3.5cms by 2cms and an approximate drop of 4cms. The necklace comprises a very nice mixture of translucent Purple Agate, deep Lavender Jade and gorgeous translucent green Aventurine. The necklace, which is strung using a strong professional nylon-coated Steel thread, has an approximate length of 17” and all the beads, Balinese beads, twisted tubes & clasp are Sterling silver. The matching earrings are also Sterling silver and they also feature Lavender Jade and Aventurine and have an approximate total length of around 1 ½” (just over 3.5cms). This is a striking combination and this set is limited to three – all the feature Agate beads will be slightly different but the result will be just as pleasing, making them all unique.  Very well made & would make an ideal gift or a treat for yourself.

I’ve been designing and making jewellery for a long time, having started designing at a young age, partly because my parents were antique dealers so I got to "play" with a lot of lovely Victorian/Edwardian crystal/amber/jet/pearl beads and was inspired by all the beautiful pieces I came across at Antique/Fine Art fairs. Add that to the fact that I've always been a collector of gemstone rocks/minerals (I still can't walk by a lovely specimen without stopping to admire it) so I knew about all the gorgeous semi-precious gems just waiting to be sourced and made into something unique – put the two passions together and you get a jewellery designer !!   Please note, however, that this is my hobby - I am not a business - so I cannot always make things on the spur of the moment.

I work exclusively with precious metals and genuine gemstones (precious and semi-precious) and genuine pearls. I source my stones and findings from around the world, using respected and ethical suppliers and also, wherever possible, direct from small companies who actually make their silver or mine/cut their gemstones themselves, for example, my Balinese silver beads actually do come from Bali. I exhibit at UK Craft fairs and Galleries and have been selling online since 2000. Each piece is made with care and an attention to detail you’ll find very hard to beat and I’m always very happy to accept commissions for one-off pieces for that special person/occasion.
