Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1955 Jerry Hopper Comedy THE PRIVATE WAR OF MAJOR BENSON starring Charlton Heston, Julie Adams, William Demarest, Tim Considine, Sal Mineo, Nana Bryant, Milburn Stone, Mary Field and Tim Hovey.
As a disciplinary measure, the Army transfers a heavy-handed Major to a ROTC academy where he must shape-up cadets and improve the school's overall ratings.
On the reverse is the 1955 John Farrow Drama THE SEA CHASE, based on the novel by Andrew Geer, starring John Wayne, Lana Turner, David Farrar, Lyle Bettger, Tab Hunter, James Arness, Richard Davalos, Alan Hale Jr., John Qualen and Paul Fix.
As World War II begins, German freighter Captain Karl Ehrlich tries to get his ship back to Germany through a gauntlet of Allied warships.
