9" X 6" Black and white press photograph

The caption reads: Taking the last hurdle in THE FONTWELL HANDICAP HURDLE, Mrs Ray Whiteway's JAN STEWER, PETER HAYNES up (left), the winner, and second-placed ANGEL'S FIVE, JOHNJENKINS up.
Jenkins complained the winner had taken his ground on the run-in but the stewards inquiry following the objection was overruled and Jenkins lost his deposit.

Dated 11th February 1976.  Good condition.
