Original vintage ad for POUNTNEY COMPANY LTD. John Decimus, Bristol Pottery master potter is illustrated. During his term that modeller Raby and designer Fifield produced some of their finest work, now much sought after by collectors. No only was J.D. Pountney a Potter of great skill and initiative, but he was also a prominent citizen of Bristol, becoming May or of the City in 1847. Main office located in England. This old 1947 one page ceramics trade magazine advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed.
