This postcard features the Welland Canal between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

This Postcard is unused and has never been mailed.

The post card measures approximately 6-5/8 X 4-5/8 inches.

The rear of the card reads:

While little remains of the first canal built in 1829, this fourth in a series of canals allows massive cargo vessels to ascend and descend the 100 meter (326 ft.) difference in elevation of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.
