Seller's Description
This is a postcard sent to Paris by a French 'Service de Sante' (military medical services) soldier in Selestat, Bas-Rhin region. It was sent on 15 May 1940, five days after the German invasion of France. His message on the back (very roughly translated) says he has arrived after a tiring journey, and that there have been a lot of changes in his absence.
The card is in fair condition with minor wear to the corners and edges, and some marks on the back.
Please see some other military-related cards, currently on sale.
